First of all, I've always wanted a sausage dog, if that helps at all...sadly, because of my allergies, I'm going to have to choose something hypo-allergenic, like a poodle :S
I did some quick research for you, and sadly, sausage dogs do have a tendency to bark a lot, and they're hard to train. I'm sending you the link so you and Kat can consider the pros and cons...
Like I said last time, The Daschund isn't the greatest family pet to get in a small dog side. Go for a Spaniel such as a - King Charles Cavalier Spaniel (I used to own one named Chloe xP) - Cocker Spaniel or - Spoodle (i.e. Spaniel and a Poodle)
Away from the Spaniel range, go for a Labradoodle :)
I do love the idea of Joyce's option! I could have my very own Ein! Thanks for the research, Emmy- after reading those, I don't think a Dachshund is a good idea :(. Sorry, Kat...
Excellent work, HH :). Like I said, we saw an amazing Great Dane x Poodle- Huge, but adorable. I think something small would suit us better. We'll just have to have a look at some dogs :).
I AM a dog person...but I do not own one...nor have I ever...so, I'm not much help at recommendations.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog. Um...I love Australia and some day I hope to visit there. Live it up, your homeland is awesome! :)
I'm not a dog person. But I wouldn't want a yappy one either.
ReplyDeleteOne dog-person and one not dog-person. Hmmm... Lindsay? Are you, perchance, part dog, part person? I'd like to meet a real dog-person.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment on my country (Yes, mine. I own it.) and it is indeed a wonderful place to live. You must visit!
They look mighty cute in pixel form...
Don't get a sausage dog they are a fucking abomination.
ReplyDeleteThey have over the years been bred to be longer and longer for aesthetics over health and have a lot of health problems, particularly in old age.
Please buy a real dog :(

I'm sorry, all I can hear is "I'm Eric the spoilsport!"
ReplyDeleteI was gonna go with: I'm sorry, I can't hear you over how cute they are!
Sheesh, I did the pixel work, 'n' everything...
Valid point. But seriously- It's gotta be small and not too noisy.
CORGI! seriously.

Also, did you say that you did all the pixal animations yourself? How do you do that? They're amazing! :D
